Past Gastronomical Gadgets

May 13, 2016 ~ I spent a month with my good friend and generous hostess with the mostest, AJ, after Dale left me to fend for myself in Washington state. I had just turned in the keys to the house we were renting, and I fled to the comforts of AJ’s humble abode. Well, it’s far from humble, because it’s so darned big and lovely!

I digress.

I soon became addicted and then dependent on two gadgets she let me use on a daily basis. One was the Ninja Coffee Bar maker, and the other was her airfryer! I had to have these!
Here they are! I even have the nice assortment of flavored syrups to go with my coffee bar. Both of these appliances are worth the money, and I’ve sold my sister, Dori on the airfryer! AJ had Todd English AirFryer, but my sister and I had to settle for the Avalon brand. Poor us.

September 12, 2015 ~ I bought this little gadget quite some time ago, but I use it all of the time.  It's a Palermo Instant Read Probe Food Thermometer.  I use it to check the temperature of chickens, breads, frying oils, etc..  There are so many uses.  This one was on and I paid under $20.  That's really a good price for how fast and accurate it is. This is a must have, and really should be any serious cook's kitchen.

May 30, 2015 ~ My awesome brother-in-law, John sent me this Nuwave 2 induction burner. He saw how much Dori had liked it and asked her if I would like one. So, much to my surprise, this was boxed up and waiting at my back doorstep. "Happy Birthday!" he exclaimed when I texted him about it. He's the best Bro-in-law a girl could ask for. Thank you again, John!
